Maria Molodova

I’m Maria, a knitwear and crochet designer based in the Netherlands. What began as a simple love for yarn slowly unfolded into a creative journey — one driven by curiosity, texture, and the endless possibilities of stitches. I find inspiration in nature, architecture, and art — in the lines of buildings, the patterns of leaves, and visual rhythms. These influences guide my designs, helping me create pieces that feel balanced, thoughtful, and timeless.

Since 2020, I’ve been designing and sharing my own patterns. I enjoy experimenting with new techniques and challenging myself with different constructions and stitch combinations. For me, designing is as much a process of discovery as it is of creation. I work mainly with natural fibres such as cotton, wool, alpaca, mohair, and silk.
