Hi there! I’m The Guy with the Hook, also known as Mark. A guy who lives in the Netherlands. If we talk about a crochet and knitting addiction, I guess I have to admit I’m a victim too. I have been crocheting and knitting for more than 15 years now, and it is part of my life. Through the years, I have made many things, worked on many projects, and learned many new techniques and patterns – always accompanied by the beautiful Scheepjes yarns. In the meantime, I have been a pattern designer for many years now.

Over the last years, I have written three crochet books: Journey, Gallery, and Memory. After this trilogy, I ended the book writing and continued by writing and publishing my magazine. In every magazine, I highlight a big crochet pattern and write articles that evolve around the theme of the crochet pattern. Seeing how I try to find new ways to use my creativity over time is fun. One thing has never changed over the years: my passion for Scheepjes. Most of my work contains Scheepjes yarns as I like the quality, standard, textures, and colors Scheepjes provides through their yarns. Besides, I love working with a brand that is based in my own country!
