May Morris (William Morris’ daughter) painted many designs inspired by wildflowers, including her Melsetter wallpaper series. In the same tradition of painting ‘Truth to Nature’, the little floral cross stitch motifs of this feminine statement belt are beautifully worked onto a crocheted base.
