The Design
In the new Scheepjes Make-A-Long, the versatile Serenum design takes centre stage, offering an uplifting project that will add a much needed splash of sunshine to any wardrobe. This crochet pattern features a cardigan that, with a simple adjustment, can also be worn as a sweater. This means that your effort to crochet a garment is doubly rewarded! The loose-fitting sweater / cardigan design consists of a block stitch body with a border of sunny crocheted mandala motifs.
About the Make-A-Long
The Serenum MAL will be held from 30 June - 21 July in the Official Scheepjes Facebook groups, providing a unique opportunity for intermediate to advanced crocheters to learn more about the block stitch and refine their overlay crochet skills. You will be provided with all the resources and support you need to have an enjoyable MAL, and maybe even learn a thing or two! In addition to the extensively detailed patterns, the designer Natalia will offer you further support, together with the highly skilled moderators and admins and worldwide Scheepjes community, by being available in the Official Scheepjes International and Dutch Facebook groups (almost 110,000 members in total!). Pattern Availability
The crochet pattern for the Serenum design is available with a 20% discount from 9 June 2021 until 27 Juli, the end of the MAL, via Ravelry and Etsy (in English (US) and Dutch).
