About this Pattern

About the Designer
Errata

Intense greens and deep blues, as used in this modern take on a classic Fair Isle slipover, were signature colours for romantic artists and designers such as William Morris. He printed his first wallpapers with woodblocks and natural dyes, showing how fundamental nature was to his work.

Dario Tubiana is an Italian knitwear designer working between Amsterdam and Rome. Through this project he designs hand-knitted garments and patterns, focusing on structure, color, and technique.

His work combines traditional knitting skills with a contemporary approach to garment construction. He often explores how techniques such as intarsia, embroidery, and textured stitches can be used to create strong and graphic designs.

Alongside his design work, Dario Tubiana teaches knitting workshops around the world at festivals in, yarn events, and universities. Teaching is an important part of his practice, where he shares techniques and helps knitters better understand how garments are constructed.
